ABC Sports and America Online have entered into an agreement
with the NFL for AOL to be "the exclusive online provider for the
NFL," according to CNBC. The official NFL area on the online
service will debut in October ("Sports View," CNBC, 9/18). "Team
NFL" on AOL will reside in the service's sports channel and will
include info for fans updated through the '96 Pro Bowl, as well
as message boards, live chats, team and player profiles, stats,
schedules and other information. Also, fans will be able to vote
for their Pro Bowl choices through AOL. The site will be
produced by ABC Sports (REUTERS/DAILY VARIETY, 9/19).
TSN HITS THE WEB: Philadelphia-based sports wire service,
The Sports Network, and WAIS Inc. have announced a Web site
featuring TSN's "real-time" sports information. Address:
