ST. LOUIS DOME CLEARED FOR TAKE OFF WITH TWA
Published September 1, 1995
TWA's naming rights deal for the new St. Louis dome was made official yesterday when it was announced that it will now be called the Trans World Dome. In addition to its name being used in promotions, event advertising and signage, TWA plans to launch a promotion called "Touchdown TWA" which will highlight the airline's destinations and award free tickets after the first Rams touchdown at every game. The airline also becomes the official airline of the Rams, and one of its aircraft will be painted in Rams colors (TWA). Terms of the deal are for $1.3M a year for 20 years with an option for renewal (WASHINGTON POST, 9/1).
