HBO reports that, for telecasts through July 3, the network's Wimbledon ratings are up 38% compared to a year ago, with an average rating of 1.8 up from 1.3. The prime-time highlights show hit a 1.9, up 27% from last year's 1.5. HBO wraps-up its Wimbledon telecasts today with three hours of tape- delayed coverage of the men's semifinals (HBO). Larry Stewart says NBC's overnights for Wimbledon are up 43% over the first weekend last year (L.A. TIMES, 7/7).
