Former Eagles QB RON JAWORSKI held back tears yesterday as he pledged to negotiate seriously with striking hotel workers who walked out of his Philadelphia Holiday Inn over two years ago. On July 13, two hotel bodyguards kicked and beat a demonstrator. Jaworski, who owns 11% of the hotel, complained that he was the "lightning rod" of union attacks.
