VP/Communications (USA TODAY, 7/18)....BARRY KLUGER, was named
Senior VP/Communications of Prodigy Services Co..  He had been at
VH1 (WALL STREET JOURNAL, 7/18)....This week's AD AGE "On A Roll"
is FRED OSTERN, VP/Marketing of Fotoball in San Diego.
Fotoball's sales hit $7.2M last year.  His prediction: "College
sports will have no labor problems this year."  Tip: "Harness
local sports passions in local promotions" (AD AGE, 7/17
issue)....The Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee Board of
Trustees appointed NOLAN KARRAS and MICHAEL DANIELSON to the
executive committee (WASHINGTON TIMES, 7/15)....GREG AMODIO has
been hired as Xavier University's Assistant Director of Marketing
and Promotions (XAVIER UNIVERSITY)....JERRY COLLINS has been
named National Sales Manager for Majestic Athletic's team uniform
line (MAJESTIC ATHLETIC)....ESPN has named TANYA CURRY Director
of ESPN Enterprises (INSIDE MEDIA, 7/12 issue)....ROBERT MAXEY
stepped down Friday as Chairman of MGM Grand Inc.  TERRY LANNI
will retain his position as CEO and take on the role of Chairman
(N.Y. TIMES, 7/17).
