The Golf Channel has acquired the rights to televise the LPGA Fieldcrest Cannon Classic September 28-October 1. The tournament is a partnership between Raycom and DWA Golf (The Golf Channel)....Media packaging company KLM, KMPC-radio and USC announced a deal yesterday for the school's football package. KLM is still shopping for a secondary flagship station for USC basketball. KLM partners Larry Kahn and Mike Lamb will become the radio voices of USC football (Larry Stewart, L.A. TIMES, 6/9)....ABC, NBC and HBO all passed on the $500,000 asking price from IMG for the Seles-Navratilova match. The event will air on CBS's "The Sports Show" on July 29 (Rudy Martzke, USA TODAY, 6/9).
