MEDIA NOTES

     This week NBA's "Inside Stuff," will join Juwan Howard at
his graduation at Michigan.  Howard was hooked with a wireless
mike for the story (NBA Entertainment)....KNBR has assumed the
rights to the Spanish broadcasts of Giants baseball.  KNBR is
handling virtually all of the inventory sold for the Spanish
portion (KNBR).... Starwave's ESPNET Sportszone has "proven to be
an instant success, receiving more than 35,000 hits a day" (N.Y.
POST, 5/4)....USA TODAY is running excerpts of "MegaMedia
Shakeout" by Kevin Maney, wich details the growth of the TV
industry and the failed merger of Bell Atlantic and TCI, (USA
TODAY, 5/4).
