     Blackhawks owner BILL WIRTZ is planning to build a 5,000
space parking lot on the grounds of the old Chicago Stadium.  At
$10 per space, the parking lot will be a welcome change from the
old stadium which cost $2M a year to operate
(SPORTSTICKER)....JOE MONTANA will officially anounce today he is
joining NBC as a studio analyst ("Sports Tonight," CNN,
5/16)....A federal jury yesterday began hearing the case of
former NBA player JEFF RULAND who is suing the Celtics over
claims he suffered a career-ending injury when a Celtics ballboy
hit his leg with a ball cart ("SportsCenter," ESPN,
5/16)....PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS Columnist BILL CONLIN underwent
heart bypass surgery Monday outside of Philadelphia.  He was
listed in stable condition yesterday (PHILADELPHIA DAILY NEWS,
5/17)....Broncos QB JOHN ELWAY will join coaches WAYNE FONTES and
DENNIS ERICKSON in the fourth annual MIKE UTLEY Celebrity Golf
Tournament this week in Scotsdale, AZ (USA TODAY, 5/17).

TNT’s Stan Van Gundy, ESPN’s Tim Reed, NBA Playoffs and NFL Draft

On this week’s pod, SBJ’s Austin Karp has two Big Get interviews. The first is with TNT’s Stan Van Gundy as he breaks down the NBA Playoffs from the booth.
