WITH PLAYOFFS NEARING, NHL SKATES ON TO THE NET

     The NHL has announced that information on the league will be
available worldwide on the Internet and America On-Line for this
year's playoffs, beginning in mid-May.  Although the league will
largely program its own service, formatting and production
assistance will come from Gage Marketing Group.  A commercial
service "overlay" will be offered through ABC Online on America
Online for the Stanley Cup Playoffs.  Internet users will be able
to obtain a variety of information on the league and its teams
including stats, interactive sessions with players, coaches,
league and team execs, as well as hockey tips.
