Advantage International and ProServ, which "compete in the
cutthroat business of signing of signing the NBA's top draft
picks each year" (WASHINGTON BUSINESS JOURNAL, 4/13
issue)....UConn hoop star REBECCA LOBO was drafted by the brand
new Jersey Turnpikes of the pro men's league, the USBL (Mult.,
4/13)....The Raptors have hired JOHN LASHWAY as their new Exec
Dir of Communications.  Lashway was previously Blazers Dir of
Sports Communications (TORONTO SUN, 4/13).
