INFINITI EXPANDS ROLE IN MEN'S TENNIS AS TITLE SPONSOR

     Infiniti, a division of Nissan, has signed a multi-year
agreement to become title sponsor of one of Los Angeles' largest
men's pro tennis events.  The first Infiniti Open, a warm-up for
the U.S. Open, is scheduled for July 31-August 6 at the L.A.
Tennis Center at UCLA.  Infiniti has been the official car and a
title sponsor of the Men's Singles Championships at the U.S. Open
for the past seven years.  As part of their involvement in
tennis, Infiniti has created the Infiniti Safe Passage Foundation
Tennis Clinic, where inner-city youth learn the game with
instruction from such players as Tim Mayotte and Stan Smith, and
they plan to have a similar program at the Infiniti Open for
L.A.-area youth.  ProServ is the marketing and television
representative of the tournament (Infiniti).
