Miami-based Ryder Systems will donate $9M to help fund the new 9,000-seat on-campus arena at the Univ. of Miami. University officials hope the $25M-$30M building, the Ryder Center, will open in '99 (Judy Battista, MIAMI HERALD, 3/7).
