Writer John Huey notes, "Disney's competitors -- among them RUPERT MURDOCH, Viacom and Time Warner -- all are piling up diversified distribution assets, such as networks and cable systems, in a play to control the future of the entertainment business. Eisner, so far among the big boys, stands alone in putting virtually all his chips on content."
