NationsBank, who paid $40M to be the sole U.S. Olympic bank sponsor, is not making an issue of Visa and several Atlanta-area banks' marketing of Olympic-related credit or debt cards. Steven White, a credit card consultant: "I don't think they want to offend Visa or the Olympics." Nationsbank is a Visa customer and promotes its own Olympic credit card." NationsBank released this statement: "We expect nonsponsors to do what they can.
