    President JON STEVENSON will assume his duties on an interim
    basis (AVP)....JERRY CORNS has been named Dir of Facilities and
    KAREN TALIAFERRO named Facilities Manager of Liberty Sports' new
    complex under construction in Las Colinas, TX (Liberty)....USGA
    President REG MURPHY was re-elected to a 2nd one-year-term (N.Y.
    TIMES, 2/5)....SWC Commissioner STEVE HATCHELL and Kansas A.D.
    BOB FREDERICK are among six finalists to be Big 12 Commissioner
    (K.C. STAR, 2/6).... FARRUKH QURAISHI, who led the World Cup's
