State Farm Insurance signed a multi-year sponsorship agreement with the $400,000 Evert Cup in Indian Wells, CA, to be held February 27-March 5. The event's namesake, Chris Evert, commended State Farm "for recognizing the increased excitement being generated around women's tennis."
