FINCHEM PROFILED IN NEW YORK TIMES
In taking on the World Tour, PGA Tour Commissioner TIM FINCHEM "launched the most efficient pre-emtive strike golf has ever seen," according to Larry Dorman in this morning's N.Y. TIMES profile on Finchem. "That Finchem is an emerging force in the big-time world of sports commissioners is a given, but just where does he fit?" Dorman writes that Finchem "presides over a sport with possibly the cleanest image of all" (N.Y. TIMES, 2/1).
