         Former NBC News Productions President THERESE BYRNE has been
appointed VP & Exec Producer of IMG's new Interactive Media
Dept., a division of Trans World Int'l (IMG)....JOHN DALY, from
an ESPN interview:  "I finally realize that there are not only my
sponsors, but fans that drive thousands of miles or fly thousands
of miles that come to see me play golf and they want to see me do
my best."  ESPN's Jimmy Roberts on Daly's attitude towards the
World Tour:  "Daly's opinion is that he's going to just spend his
time trying to stay on the PGA Tour" ("SportsCenter," 1/5).
