NORTHERN VIRGINIA NARROWS SEARCH FOR BASEBALL STADIUM SITE

     In an effort to narrow the number of stadium sites down to
two or three, Fairfax County's Stadium Site Selection Task Force
eliminated seven proposed sites, leaving six yet to be decided
on.  Sites that were eliminated include two in the western part
of VA and two in the Tysons Corner (suburban DC) area.  Criteria
for choosing a stadium site include transportation,
environmental, neighborhood, historic, and economic impacts
(WASHINGTON TIMES, 1/4).
