Contrary to a Friday report in the N.Y. DAILY NEWS, MLB officials denied they had agreed to a settlement with Darryl Strawberry. The report had stated a plea-bargain had been reached "contingent on his recieving written assurance that a guilty plea to a felony would not lead to further disciplinary action against him by baseball."
