THE ORGANIZING CHECKLIST FOR ACOG IN '95
In Atlanta, Bert Roughton notes the Top Ten tasks for ACOG at the start of the New Year: 1) Stay on schedule with the building projects. 2) Close the sponsorship deals. 3) If a surplus begins to appear, then spend it to upgrade either the entertainment at the games or build a park. 4) Debug the transportation plan -- not just how the Olympic participants and organizers will get around, but how the tourists and visitors will get around. 5) Finish dressing up the public housing projects that are near the Olympic Village. 6) Finish fixing up the "pedestrian corridors." 7) Break ground on Centennial Park. 8) Change "gracefully" from organizing committee to Olympic governing body. 9) Keep out of the GA state flag fight. 10) Listen to all ideas on venues (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 12/31).
