KEN VENTURI signed a three year deal with CBS as golf analyst. He will retire after '97 (NEWSDAY, 1/24)....TROY AIKMAN was on the "Tonight Show" last night and touted his children's book, "Things Change:" "I've got a foundation of my own and the proceeds will go towards that. It's a book for children to read and maybe get something out of it, dealing with adversity, changes that all people go through, sad facts that we encounter and how to overcome those things. I'm proud of it. I think the kids will enjoy it and maybe get something good out of it (NBC, 1/24).
