RAPTORS NEW TICKET CAMPAIGN IN TIP TOP SHAPE
Published December 6, 1994
The Raptors announced a season-ticket sales campaign in
conjunction with the TORONTO SUN and Tip Top Tailors. Raptors VP
Isiah Thomas called it an "aggressive package that will make
Raptors tickets affordable for everybody." The Hoops Club
package makes 500-level SkyDome season tickets available for
$225, including a team cap and invitations to a practice and
clinic. Fans can take a coupon from THE SUN and purchase tickets
at one of 66 Tip Top Tailors outlets in southern Ontario for only
$200. The team hopes to sell 2,000 of the seats in the next few
weeks to reach their NBA-mandated quota of 12,500 season-ticket
sales by December 31. The team is presently 4,500 sales short of
its goal (Rob Malich, TORONTO SUN, 12/6).
OPEN HOUSE TONIGHT: The Raptors will hold an open house at
SkyDome today, hosted by Thomas. The facility will be configured
for basketball and the Raptors games. Fans can see the layout of
the court, "size up their seats, and buy them." Buyers become
eligible for a trip to the All-Star game in Phoenix (Rob Malich,
TORONTO SUN, 12/6).
