NATIONSBANK ADDS TO THEIR OLYMPIC PORTFOLIO
Published December 2, 1994
NationsBank announced that it will be the title sponsor for two men's marathon races leading up to the '96 Games -- the '95 USA NationsBank Men's Marathon National Championship on January 7, 1995, and the '96 Men's Marathon Olympic Trials presented by NationsBank on February 17, 1996. Both events will held in Charlotte, NC. NationsBank President Ken Lewis: "As a corporate sponsor of the 1996 Olympic Games, we have two critical goals. One is to help support the athletes working to make the U.S. Olympic Team. The other is to bring the spirit of the Olympic Games to the communities where we do business. Sponsoring these two important events helps us to achieve both goals" (NationsBank).
