RAMS AND FANS, INC. SPEND WEEKEND TOGETHER
Published December 19, 1994
Rams officials spent the weekend in St. Louis trying to work out a deal with Fans, Inc. that "could make or break the team's possible move to St. Louis." Rams President John Shaw would not comment on negotiations, but did say progress was being made. A deal "hit a snag" two weeks ago, and there is speculation that FANS has taken some items off the table -- items "probably dealing with stadium guarantees." Shaw did say there were several "unresolved issues" under discussion (Jim Thomas, ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 12/19).
