Rupert Murdoch's News Corp. announced after-tax profits of $301M (Aus.), an increase of 15% over the same period last year, citing gains in the company's film and TV station groups. As expected, profits at Fox Broadcasting remained "flat" due to heavy expenses related with the launch of Fox's coverage of the NFL.
