The Buccaneers have named RICH MCKAY as the team's new General Manager. McKay had been VP of Football Administration. McKay's role as GM will be somewhat limited as he will be unable to hire or fire coaches. McKay said that Coach SAM WYCHE will remain the team's Director of Football Operations: "Those decisions that affect football operations on a day-to-day basis remain Sam's. The big change is on the scouting side." McKay added: "The real change would be as far as the supervision of the draft and the free agency; that will fall a little more to me and try to take a little off of Sam's shoulders" (Pat Yasinskas, TAMPA TRIBUNE, 11/9)....Current Raycom Executive VP of Sales and Marketing RAY WARREN has been promoted to COO.
