MICKEY MANTLE has filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Upper Deck, claiming the company did not fulfill their contract with him because of his alcohol problems. The suit claims that the trading-card company said Mantle's admission to having gone through alcohol rehabilitation "diminished his marketability" (MIAMI HERALD, 11/4)....JOHN DALY told the ATLANTA CONSTITUTION it was "his own decision" to leave the tour and blames back problems for his absence.
