     PATRICIA LINDEN pleaded guilty to one federal count of
conspiracy for diverting millions from a rare coin fund BRUCE
MCNALL set up for Merrill Lynch.  Linden allegedly set up a
series of fake coin purchases to hide the diversion of $13M to
other McNall run firms (L.A. TIMES, 11/22)....Boxing Promoter
ROCK NEWMAN was named Chairman of DC Mayor-elect Marion Barry's
transition team (WASHINGTON TIMES, 11/22).
