Jackie Joyner-Kersee will join the 260-member Atlanta Olympic Band and the giant six-and-a-half-story IZZY balloon in this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City (ACOG)....The U.S. Postal Service is "gearing up" for the '96 Olympics by making plans for commemorative stamps, pictorial cancellations and athletes' ZIP codes. Temporary postal stores will be set up in and around the Olympic Village, which will get its own ZIP code. After the Games, metro Atlanta will be home to more permanent postal stores than any other city (ATLANTA CONSTITUTION, 11/19). Groundbreaking for Stone Mountain Park, which will be the site of three sports -- archery, cycling and tennis -- takes place tomorrow (ACOG).
