The final round of negotiations for the TV rights to Wimbledon will take place in New York, November 7-9. The All- England club is expected to make its decision by Thanksgiving. Fox/fX and NBC/HBO have reportedly both made bids (COWLES BUSINESS MEDIA, 11/1)....ABC Sports announced an expanded college basketball schedule to include 30 games in 11 telecasts, highlighting the '94 Final Four teams. Raycom will produce the telecasts and ABC Sports will provide commentators (ABC Sports).... ESPN, for its nine NFL games, beginning this Sunday, will provide a continuous clock/score box (a la Fox) in the upper corner of the screen. When the ball is moving left to right, the clock/score will appear on the upper left corner and vice-versa (Rudy Martzke, USA TODAY, 11/2).
