GETTING INNER CITY YOUTH INVOLVED IN GOLF
The Baltimore Municipal Golf Corp. launched an after-school golf clinic last week with the Minority Golf Association of America (MGAA) and the city's Recreation Department. John and Paul David founded MGAA as a nation-wide effort to increase minority participation. Paul David said with American Airlines as a national sponsor, they are looking at Baltimore as a prototype for clinics in as many as 15 cities next year (John Stewart, Baltimore SUN, 10/4).
