As expected, ABC/CapCities promoted ROBERT IGER to
President/COO and named him a director, "ending months of
speculation over the company's future" (mult., 9/21)....
Prime Network announced that HAMMOND REYNOLDS has joined the
national sports distribution service as Senior Coordinating
Producer.  Reynolds will be responsible for Prime's on-air
content and "look" and for organizing operational efforts.
Reynolds had been with Turner Sports for five years where he
produced the '94 Goodwill Games and XVII Winter Olympics....ACOG
has promoted DAVE MAGGARD to Managing Director of Sports within
the Sports and International Relations Department (THE DAILY).

     SHAQUILLE O'NEAL music fans can hear his new tune,
"Biological Didn't Bother," September 24 during "Shaq Week" on
the QVC cable network.  Shaq's album, "Shaq Fu: Da Return" hits
the stores November 8.  On QVC, Shaq will also introduce his new
line of collectibles; the Shaq Party Pack birthday accessories
for kids; and the Shaq Pack, which includes a holographic card,
poster, a gold trading card, and a Shaq pin ("Hollywood," N.Y.
DAILY NEWS, 9/21).
