EXECUTIVE TRANSACTIONS

     The World League of American Football appointed MARC
LORY as its President and CEO.  The WLAF is scheduled to resume
in April after a two year hiatus (THE DAILY, 9/14). ....PAUL
FARNSWORTH was named coordinating producer of The Golf Channel.
He was producer for HBO Sports and Madison Square Garden
(ELECTRONIC MEDIA, 9/12 issue)....TERRY RYAN was named the next
GM of the Twins, with BILL SMITH continuing as the assistant GM
(Minneapolis STAR TRIBUNE, 9/14).....Eagles VP SUZI BRAMAN,
daughter of former owner NORMAN BRAMAN, resigned her position
yesterday to pursue "her own business ventures."  Braman was in
charge of corporate sponsorship (PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER, 9/14).
