Heat Unveil "Miami Vice"-Themed City Edition Uniform Design

The Heat today formally unveiled their "Miami Vice"-themed City Edition Nike uniform, which will debut on-court for Thursday's home game against the Kings. The look features "white jerseys with pink, black and powder blue accents -- a color scheme synonymous" with that of the '80s-era TV show. Player numbers will be "powder blue with black and pink shadowing, and the word 'Miami' is written in the same pink color and script that appeared on the front of the old Miami Arena." A full merchandise line including T-shirts and hats "will be available to the public" starting tomorrow (MIAMIHERALD.com, 1/23).
