Scotiabank Activating Heavily Around NHL 100 Classic In Ottawa

The NHL on Saturday is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the league's first games with an outdoor contest held at Ottawa's Lansdowne Park featuring Canadiens-Senators. Title sponsor Scotiabank will activate around the NHL 100 Classic in several ways related to its support of youth hockey in Canada. This includes hosting two minor hockey teams who will face off against NHL alumni on Friday and having the names of all the minor hockey teams it has sponsored in the last 10 years installed in the ice. It also will celebrate its One Million Kids and Counting program that has helped sponsor more than 1 million young hockey players.

Scotiabank also will have in-ice logos, concourse activations and in-stadium promos. The Rogers Canadian national broadcast will run a feature on Scotiabank's youth hockey efforts. The game also will air on NBCSN in the U.S.
