Browns, HOF Look To Stage '19 Or '20 NFL Draft In Cleveland/Canton

The Browns, Pro Football HOF and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission "have partnered in an attempt" to bring the '19 or '20 NFL Draft to Northeast Ohio, and the group "formally applied last week." This comes as the league, founded in Canton in 1920, celebrates its "100th season in 2019 or centennial in 2020." The site of the '18 NFL Draft "has not yet been announced" (CLEVELAND.com, 8/17). The application indicates that Cleveland and Canton "would host" the three-day event, but it is "unclear which city would host which days" (CANTONREP.com, 8/17).
