Pro Football HOF Festivities Continue; Networks Go Heavy On Coverage

Tom Benson HOF Stadium on Saturday "will host the enshrinement" for the Pro Football HOF, with Toby Keith and Kid Rock set to "headline Sunday’s Concert for Legends using the permanent stage at the 50-yard line" (CANTONTREP.com, 8/4). New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is "scheduled to be in Canton on Friday and Saturday" to see Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones' induction (AP, 8/4).

NFL Net and ESPN plan "lengthy" coverage of festivities. NFL Net has "three hours of pre-induction coverage planned Saturday." There also will be a "live interview" on Saturday on NFL Net with Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin as they discuss Jones' "impact on the game." ESPN2 tonight has a feature on Jones (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 8/4).
