ESPN is launching a new monthly television program featuring reporter Marty Smith. "Marty Smith's America" will debut Wednesday, Aug. 2 at 7:00pm ET on ESPN2. The one-hour program will feature Smith interviewing and spending time with four sports newsmakers in sometimes unusual settings (ESPN).

Sports nutrition company Eat The Bear today announced a three-year partnership with Spartan Race to become the "Official Performance Nutrition of Spartan U.S." Eat The Bear will be sold through shop.spartan.com and partner with Spartan on customized products (Eat The Bear). 

Minneapolis-based mobile platform developer Bleachr has partnered with Lagardère Sports to develop a custom mobile application to amplify the live experience at the Citi Open Tennis Tournament (Lagardère Sports).
