Packers' Murphy Says Pro Bowl Could Stay Permanently In Orlando

The Pro Bowl could stay permanently in Orlando, Packers President & CEO Mark Murphy said at the team’s annual shareholder meeting today. Orlando hosted the Pro Bowl for the first time this January and will again host the game in ‘18 after years of being in Hawaii. The NFL’s focus with the Pro Bowl this past season was to promote high school and youth football, and Murphy described that effort as a great success in Orlando. “It could be a permanent home for the Pro Bowl,” Murphy said. He added the Packers would never give up a home game for an international contest, which drew loud cheers from the thousands of shareholders present.
