ISE Requests Dan Fegan's Lawsuit Be Moved To Private Arbitration

Independent Sports & Entertainment is asking that a judge move the public lawsuit NBA agent Dan Fegan filed against ISE President & CEO Hank Ratner and other execs to private arbitration. In a motion filed today in L.A. Superior Court, ISE said Fegan's employment agreement and the agreement to sell his business require that he submit his disputes to arbitration. If the court does not move the matter to arbitration, ISE is asking, in the alternative, that many statements in Fegan's lawsuit be stricken, alleging they contain "gratuitous, slanderous, and irrelevant material."

ISE fired Fegan on March 10, and the parties are engaged in two arbitrations over multimillion dollar monetary claims they have against each other.
