U.S. Lacrosse Signs New Partners Bank Of America, DJO Global

U.S. Lacrosse today announced two new one-year sponsorship deals, one with medical device company DJO Global and another with Bank of America. DJO becomes the official sports brace provider of U.S. Lacrosse and supporting partner of Team USA in a deal that U.S. Lacrosse Managing Dir of Partnership Brett Hurwitz said includes a mix of cash and value in kind. As part of the deal, Team USA players will wear DJO Global brand bracing and durable goods while playing for the team. The two sides will also collaborate on injury prevention research.

Bank of America becomes an official sponsor of the U.S. women’s lacrosse team. The value of the rights fee was not disclosed, but Hurwitz said assets include intellectual property rights, hospitality at U.S. women's games, content opportunities and involvement with Team USA clinics. Meanwhile, open categories that Hurwitz is trying to fill include telecom, nutrition and auto/rental cars.
