Late Scheduling Decision Creates Glut Of Tickets For Nats-Dodgers

The late scheduling for today’s Nationals-Dodgers NLDS Game 4 at Dodger Stadium has contributed to a heavy glut of inventory on ticket resale markets. The 2:00pm PT start time for the game was not determined until the Giants completed their 13-inning win over the Cubs after 12:00am local time this morning, ensuring a Game 4 in that series would be played tonight. At presstime, 61 tickets for the Nationals-Dodgers game were listed on StubHub for $6, the minimum listing price in its deal with MLB as the league’s official fan-to-fan ticket marketplace. Earlier this afternoon, more than 140 tickets were listed at $6.

By comparison, minimum listing prices on StubHub for the Cubs-Giants game at AT&T Park tonight were $58. The Dodgers are also still marketing primary ticket availability in multiple sections of the ballpark. Mobile-based ticket reseller Gametime had ticket listings for Nationals-Dodgers as low as $2.
