Falcons-Saints Game Marks 10 Years Since Superdome Return

Tonight's Falcons-Saints "MNF" game at Mercedes-Benz Superdome will be "rich with symbolism for Saints fans and the city of New Orleans." It will mark 10 years and a day since the NFL returned to the venue "for the first time since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina" (THEADVOCATE.com, 9/25). ESPN plans a "full slate of feature packages looking back at the past 10 years." "MNF" producer Jay Rothman said, "There are so many different angles we're going to go back to, whether it's the point of view of Drew Brees, Steve Gleason, just the people ... the Superdome, what the Superdome was prior to Katrina, how it got ripped apart" (NOLA.com, 9/24).
