Yahoo's The Vertical Live Streaming NBA Free Agency Show

Yahoo’s The Vertical will hold a live streaming show tonight to coincide with the beginning of the NBA’s free agency period. “The Vertical With Woj” will stream its first-ever free agency show beginning at 11:30pm ET on all Yahoo platforms, continuing until 1:00am. The live stream will be hosted by Chris Mannix, along with The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Shams Charania and Bobby Marks.

The effort arrives after The Vertical generated a total reach of 3.7 million video views and 2.8 million unique viewers for its live NBA Draft coverage last week, far less than the total audience for ESPN’s TV coverage, but still notable for a start-up digital program without official broadcast rights to the event. “These kinds of shows are precisely the type of thing we were built to do,” Wojnarowski said. The league’s free agency period begins at 12:01am.
