NASCAR Collaborating With Steven Soderbergh On Feature Film

NASCAR today announced plans for a new feature film, "Logan Lucky," in collaboration with director Steven Soderbergh. The movie, starring Channing Tatum in the lead role, depicts a theoretical heist at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Pre-production filming will begin this weekend at the Sprint Cup Series Coca-Cola 600, with a tentative theatrical release date in the fall of '17. NASCAR VP/Entertainment Marketing & Content Development Zane Stoddard is exec producing (NASCAR).
