MLB Announces Six-Stop Schedule For Baseball HOF Tour

MLB this afternoon announced a six-stop tour of initial dates for the Baseball HOF Tour, entitled "We Are Baseball." The tour will begin in Davenport, Iowa, on July 3 and continue into late October to Milwaukee, K.C., St. Louis, Minneapolis and Las Vegas. The traveling exhibition will feature an original IMAX movie produced by Legendary Entertainment Chair and HOF board member Thomas Tull and Red Sox Chair Tom Werner, immersive video-based exhibitions of baseball artifacts and history, a Jaunt-powered virtual reality experience, and several other interactive exhibits. More tour dates will be slated for '17.

Fanatics, baseball's official digital commerce partner, will operate pop-up retail stores at each tour stop. Cisco, Getty Images, MasterCard and Papa John's have signed on as tour sponsors.
