USC AD Pat Haden Plans To Step Down From Position In June

USC on Friday announced that AD Pat Haden will step down effective June 30. Haden will stay at the school “as part of a one-year deal to guide the renovation of the LA Memorial Coliseum.” Haden assumed the AD role in ’10 after serving as a school trustee (NBCLOSANGELES.com, 2/5).

USC President Max Nikias said Haden “will be working closely” with executive search firm Brill Neumann to identify the school’s next AD. USC Senior Associate AD & COO Steve Lopes is “considered a frontrunner if Nikias goes for an in-house candidate.” Another possibility would be Senior Associate AD J.K. McKay (DAILYNEWS.com, 2/5).
