SNY Partners With Citi For Limited-Commercial Mets Telecast

SNY has partnered with Citi to present tonight's Cubs-Mets game at Citi Field with limited commercial interruption. Special features of the telecast will include on-field reporter Steve Gelbs conducting live behind-the-scenes interviews; commentators Ron Darling and Keith Hernandez roaming the ballpark to provide live analysis; and Mets third base coach Tim Teufel being wired for sound.

Also today, Citi and the Mets launched the Citi Bike Sweepstakes social media campaign. Through July 29, consumers who post a photo of one of 50 Mets-wrapped bicycles placed throughout N.Y. will have the chance to win special Citi Perks and Mets-themed prizes, including game tickets and branded hats and backpacks. One winner will get the chance to throw out the first pitch at a Mets home game. Mets RF Curtis Granderson, Mrs. Met and Citi Head of Global Public Affairs Ed Skyler attended a launch event today in Central Park (THE DAILY).
