Eagles Shake Up Personnel, Parting Ways With Patch, Mueller

The Eagles have opted to "shake up" their personnel department and "will move forward without" Dir of College Scouting Anthony Patch, Dir of Pro Personnel Rick Mueller and scout Brad Obee. Patch and Mueller were "tied to the regime" of Exec VP/Football Operations Howie Roseman, "whose personnel say ended in January." They were Roseman's "top personnel advisors," along with VP/Player Personnel Ed Marynowitz, who now "runs personnel, and will hire his own team." Patch was with the team for 13 years, Mueller for four years (PHILLY.com, 5/4).

Meanwhile, the Jets have fired Dir of Pro Personnel Brendan Prophett and "five college scouts." Prophett had been with the team since '00 and was "about to begin his ninth season" in his current position (NJ.com, 5/4).
